Born in The Azim Steppe, as Tayuun Milahvee, her parents were traveling merchants, selling various pottery and knives. Her mother and father left Eorzea to pursue their dreams of traveling the world. They would be welcomed to the Azim Steppe by the Mol clan and made their home in Reunion.During the Far East occupation, and the annexation of Ala Mhigo and its territories, her parents would be killed by Garlean soldiers when her father tried protecting her from being taken in to custody. During the commotion, toddler Milah would be picked up by a neighboring Au Ra tribe and taken to safety; they fled to Eorzea.Milah's new family would travel through Yanxia, to catch a ferry to Eorzea, which would drop them off in Dravania. They would eventually find themselves in Coerthas and would spend many days trying to find their way through the never ending blizzards. However, they approached Ishgard, and they were stopped by soldiers and they killed the Au Ra, as they were seen as enemies of the state, because they were thought to be 'dragon spawn'. A soldier threatened to kill Milah, but was stopped by another, saying "leave her. She's already dead."Milah traveled through the deep snow, crossing the frozen waters, and ended up in the North Shroud, where she collapsed and was left for dead.A family of Miqo'te found her. They had a baby girl with them, and they nursed Milah back to health. Their baby girl was Sakura; Milah's new sister.Growing up in Gridania was difficult for Milah, as she would be ridiculed for being clanless, and being from the Far East, but Sakura would be there to fight off the bullies and telling off anyone who looked at Milah funny. When Milah turned sixteen, and was of age to move out, she joined the Order of the Twin Adder in hopes to find somewhere she belonged. She was treated harshly at first, being a new recruit, in order to "toughen" her up, but eventually started to rank up over time, the older she got. When she turned eighteen, she played in her first Frontline game, representing the Adders, as a rookie. It was rough debut for her, scoring 0 goals and being scored on seven times, as the Adders got stomped. In her seventh season, Milah would captain the Adders to a Cinderella run, which would see Gridania winning its first ever championship, in the final seconds of the game, from node points. However, the success would not be repeated in later seasons, because Gridania does not have a strong military, like the other nations. In her 10th season, Milah's playing career would come to an end, due to injuries and illness.During the liberation of Ala Mhigo, Milah would be drafted in to the war, representing the Order of the Twin Adder, and because of her Frontline experience, captained a squadron to take Castrum Oriens from the empire. There she would fight against a strong but silent Imperial commander, who eventually turned on her own squadron, and the Empire, to rush to Ala Mhigo to save her birth parents.Journeying to the "New World", Tural (with her military days, seemingly over) she was hired by the Warrior of Light as a member of his party. They would assist Wuk Lamat in her quest to lead Tural as their Dawnservant, or leader. Milah was mostly all business when she was with the Warrior of Light, but her downtime was a time for her to reflect on her life and plan for the future.
